Bonder and Wodiczko   Babi Yar TeamThe Babi Yar Memorial Park will become a new kind of public landscape: an active public place for culture, a participatory place that engages the public in a discursive memory, and a monitor for the present-day atmosphere marked by violence and terror. As transformative work, the memorial will act as a guide for potential actions.

Babi Yar Memorial Park can be connected to the world, and act as an “environment for thinking through past and present traumas and to re-think and re-actualize the past in the present time, encouraging new criticalconsciousness, and possibilities for ourselves and new generations to find new ways of engagement through transformative practices towards a better world."
