Mystical Masks of Many Cultures

Masks reveal ancestral heritage, healing and celebrations of life. Learn how masks are made, try them on and create your own. A two-hour program includes mask-making. Fee: $7.

Decorative Arts of Mexico

State folklorist Rita Wallace and Julie Marino of Cultural Interpretations teach how to create colorful decorative arts of Mexico. Programs can be accompanied by music and cultural dance. Program can be combined with our Bridges of Understanding, Rites of Passage or Ceremonies & Festivals programs.

The Art of Henna

Tree of Life School Program

This school group workshop is presented by Julie Marino and Rita Wallace of Cultural Interpretations. Participants create personal Trees of Life, sing songs and hear a modern-day children's book.

Explore ancient and modern India through traditional arts and crafts, folk dance, yoga, film, folk stories, history, food and more. Presentations are crafted to meet your needs.

Put Your Math and Art Skills to Use: Geometric Design Based on Ancient Jewish and Islamic Art

Boulder artist Paul Barchilon presents a hands-on workshop on ancient geometric design. Participants learn the simple fundamentals of geometric design and, using only a compass and a ruler, create their own unique patterns.

Chanukah at Your Schools
$5 | K-12 | November 5 – December 21 
What is Chanukah? What is a dreidel? Who were the ancient Macabees? This one-hour interactive Chanukah experience in your classroom includes a take-home Chanukah packet.
