Salon Nights at the Mizel Museum

Salon Nights at the Mizel Museum are not your usual night out. Inspired by relevant topics and interesting stories, they are an evening of discovery and conversation set in the midst of the museum’s permanent exhibit. Wine and hors d’oeuvres make the evening festive.

Bees & Honey 101
Thursday, September 6, Reception 5:30-6 pm/Program 6-7:30 pm
Rosh Hashanah (the Jewish New Year) is approaching so we asked Coloradoan and former Israeli beekeeper Norm Klapper to school us in the art and science of beekeeping, and Hazon Colorado in the nutritional, environmental and purely pleasurable benefits of honey (and the bees that make it!) The evening will conclude with a honey tasting, courtesy of Ekar.
