Marilyn Lande, MA, local artist/art historian, and Linda McCray, MFA, a Montana-based liturgical artist who creates abstract spiritual paintings will discuss the history of spiritual art from iconic to contemporary in Judaism and Christianity. A brief history with digital images of visual art from both traditions will be explored, followed by a stimulating discussion of art’s role in spirituality then and now.
