Artist-in-Residence Betsy Tobin
Join local puppeteer, Betsy Tobin, who will guide kids on a fun, interactive tour of puppet and mask traditions from around the world. Campers will sketch, design and create their own finger puppets, rod puppets, Chinese dragon puppets, and Indonesian shadow puppets. They will also make simple masks inspired by African and Mexican masks and learn basics of masked acting and puppetry to bring their characters to life!

Join our ever-popular program with treasured Israeli educator Sharona Grinsteiner and her crew on an imaginative journey through award-winning picture books. Using Hebrew children’s books and nationally-acclaimed books from PJ Library® including Bagels for Benny and It Could Be Worse, children literally “jump” into these stories through creative dramatics, fantastic art projects, movement and more!
