About the workshop: Singing as a group is an important part of our heritage as human beings. When we sing together we support each other, which makes it easier to shake off our fears and inhibitions. Join the incomparable Claudia Schmidt, an extraordinary vocalist, songwriter, and performing artist whose musical vision embraces folk, jazz, storytelling and prose. She has toured and recorded for close to four decades as a self-proclaimed “creative noisemaker.” Join Claudia for a dynamic, experiential workshop that celebrates the joyful nature of singing in community. We will sing songs and do exercises together to remove the blocks that keep us from singing from our soul. For all lovers of singing, no prior musical or singing experience necessary. 12:00-2:00 pm at the Mizel Museum. CLICK HERE to register.
