I worked for a software company that I thought I would be at until I retired. The owner sold to someone out of state and I had the opportunity to re-invent myself. I worked doing research for a telecommunications company, I was a CO data fellow for a presidential campaign, worked a few temp jobs, did some contract work, went back to school and ended up here.

Who or what inspires you most and why?
Art, music, friends, random acts of goodness, and my dogs – cause that is what is good in the world.
What has been your favorite vacation?
China, Ireland, Poland or Montana.
What is your favorite Jewish food?
Potato knish or latkes or half sours or…
What is your favorite movie?
I have seen Grease about 300 times. I’m a pink lady at heart. I will also watch Spinal Tap, The Big Lebowski, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me, or Sense and Sensibility whenever they are on.
What is your favorite work of visual art?
How can you pick one? I love modern and graphic art – Louise Bourgeois’ Spiders are a favorite, Willem de Kooning, Mark Rothko, Jackson Pollock, Raymond Pettibone, Daniel Clowes, and lately the works of people like Ernesto Garcia Cabral.
