Join us for “Place-Sake Boxes: Memory’s Location,” a creative workshop for adults, led by NEA award winning artist and photographer Dona Laurita.

Together, we will explore the dimensions and expressions of place and memory through art. We will each create our own “Place-Sake Box” with found objects, collage, photography, drawing and painting.

Dona is the creator of Cassa da Vita (“Box of Life”), a project that crafts life stories in books, audio and film recordings, photographs and paintings to create one-of- a-kind multimedia documentary works of art. She recently was a recipient with Mizel Museum of a National Endowment of the Arts (NEA) award.
