VISIT THE FIRST 25 YEARS EXHIBITION
NOW SHOWING AT THE MIZEL MUSEUM!
THE FIRST 25 YEARS
The Mizel Museum is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2007. The exhibition reflects the celebration of its first 25 years through the artistic and cultural contributions by displaying its vast permanent collection, whose diversity of mediums and content underscores and echoes the mission of multicultural dialogue and tolerance that the museum’s exhibits and educational programs encourage and propagate.

Encompassing about 1,000 local and international historical objects, rare Judaica, contemporary fine-art paintings, photographs, and sculpture from Europe, Israel, South America, Africa, and America, the Mizel Museum’s permanent collection weaves together images and artifacts that tell stories from around the globe.

Like most permanent collections, the Mizel Museum’s permanent collection has been made possible and continues to grow thanks to acquisitions, donations from individuals and families within our community, artists with whom the museum has formed relationships through past exhibitions, and other organizations with whom the museum has collaborated in the last 25 years.

Immerse yourself in this vibrant montage of historical objects and fine art, and learn how its permanent collection acts as a grand mirror for the Mizel Museum’s identity.

The exhibition will run from May 4—October 3, 2007. Hours are Monday through Thursday 8:30—5:00 and Friday 8:30—3:00. For more information, please contact Georgina Kolber, Director of Exhibitions, Collections and Programs at 303-394-9993 X7.
