This weekend workshop will begin at Working with artists where participants will have the opportunity to discuss the artists personal approach to the subject. This will include how they got started, what drew them in, technique, funding, logistics of being in a location after a genocide.

Exhibiting artists lead a tour of these exhibits. They will discuss their work & what the subject as a whole means to them.

Armenians of Colorado, Inc. will host a discussion led by Taner Akcam, author of A Shameful Act: the Armenian Genocide and the Question of Turkish Responsibility about the first genocide of the 20th Century.

A coffee reception follows the lecture and discussion.
