| This new organization is seeking out other Jewish artists in Colorado. "The word is spreading about the Colorado Jewish Artists Guild. There are so many talented Jewish artists hidden in the nooks and crannies of Colorado we would like to find them and have them join us," says Carol Racklin Siegel, founder. "Reaching out into the community and seeking artists is now a main goal of the group. There are so many talented Jewish artists who we want to know about this group and get involved. Since this group is still in the formation process, if you are aware of any Colorado Jewish artists, please pass their names and email addresses back to us so that we can include them," said Arel Mishory, founder. This group will be inclusive of Jewish artists living throughout the state of Colorado who work in any medium. The purpose of this artists' group is to create opportunities to market and exhibit their artwork, to create public awareness, to educate potential collectors, and be responsive to the needs of its artist members. There are very ambitious plans in the works for future programs. If you are interested in obtaining information about the group or becoming a member, please contact Barbara Cohen at glittery@iwbyte.com. If you have further questions, contact Ellen Premack at the Mizel Museum at 303-394-9993 x1.
